Laserbeam Charakterization

In this example, the measurement of a Gaussian HeNe-beam with SHSLab HR is shown. At the rim of the beam, very dark spots have to be recognized and evaluated. Therefore, a very low noise of the sensor head has to be guaranteed. Standard OPTOCRAFT Shack-Hartmann- sensors use exclusively high-end components and sophisticated algorithms for noise reduction.
