Shape and Surface testing of Intra Ocular Lenses and Contact Lenses

SHSOphthalmic autoROC is an automated metrology system for
ophthalmic surfaces. Within seconds SHSInspect autoROC delivers precise measurement data for deviation of shape and radius of curvature for:

  • Spheres
  • Toric surfaces
  • Weak aspheres

The SHSOphthalmic autoROC convinces the user by speed, precision and ease of use. Its powerful software offers a production mode restricted to the essentials and an R&D mode with access to advanced options. The results can be summarized in the configurable pass/fail analysis and be stored into the customer’s database.


Functionality

SHSOphthalmic autoROC is based on Optocraft’s approved wavefront
sensor SHSCam. The measured parameters are:

  • Radius of curvature (ROC)
  • Axis for toric samples
  • Surface shape deviation

With the integrated vision camera, the surface can be inspected for lathe grooves, scratches, digs, and polishing errors.

The software SHSWorks for autoROC provides comprehensive
functions for metrology tasks and can be adapted flexibly to the
customer’s requirements:

  • Pass/fail analysis
  • Production and R&D mode
